I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the prestigious Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 1991. Soon after, I transitioned into the software industry, where I worked for over 20 years. Around the same time, I also began studying Pranayama and later pursued advanced Yoga and silence programs through the Art of Living Foundation. I started teaching Pranayama alongside my software career, purely out of passion. It was only after years of guiding friends and relatives that I realized my true calling was in teaching Yoga, fitness, and holistic well-being. What began as a personal interest eventually became my profession. The greatest reward for me is the joy and motivation I receive from helping people recover from back pain, become active again, and even take up running. In 2007, I personally faced severe back and knee pain. With the guidance of a certified trainer—and without needing surgery—I recovered completely. This experience deeply inspired me to become a trainer myself. I earned my Personal Trainer Certification from NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) between 2009 and 2011. After returning from the U.S., I took up marathon running and have since completed several full marathons, including two Ultramarathons (50 km). In 2017, I joined the Nellai Runners group and became an organizer for the Nellai Marathon. Since then, I’ve also been coaching new runners and helping them start their journey safely and effectively. Over the years, I’ve taught hundreds of individuals—across age groups—in Pranayama, back and full-body exercises, strength training, and stretching techniques. My core strength lies in combining exercises with Yoga and breathing to deliver sustainable, injury-free results tailored to each individual's body condition and age. With over 15 years of hands-on experience, I focus on helping people move better, heal naturally, and regain confidence in their bodies. Anyone who joins my class can expect a personalized approach and lasting results.

I studied Art of Living yoga class in 1991 and later did advance courses on that like Bhava Samathi Practice, Kriya and silence course, and Bikram Yoga. To be very honest I did not undergo any teacher training or took any certification on Yoga but started teaching for friends and families out of own interest. Taught Pranayama, Bikram Yoga for more than 100s of people of various age groups with best results. Later during Corona time, I started teaching online and started coaching Nellai Running group, being an organizer for Nellai Marathon. I am an Marathoner and an Ultra runner and a coach for Nellai Runners group as well. During world yoga day on June 21 we do group Yoga sessions in a public ground for a group. My strength is experience in understanding the students requirement and give best results, being honest on what is possible and what is not possible, injury free teaching etc.
