IdentityI have dedicated the past 24 years of my life to teaching the English language, with a particular focus on IELTS preparation. My journey as an educator began with a deep-rooted passion for helping students communicate effectively and achieve their academic dreams. Over time, this has grown into a full-fledged career that spans teaching English from the primary school level (classes 1 to 4 – all subjects) to college-level literature and language courses, and specialized coaching for international English language testing systems like IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL.
My qualifications reflect my commitment to excellence in teaching. I hold two postgraduate degrees—one in English and the other in Education—along with a B.Ed. in Education. These academic foundations have helped me craft effective, student-focused methodologies. I am also a certified IELTS trainer, with formal training and certification from the British Council. To keep myself updated, I attend annual training programs and workshops related to IELTS, PTE, and TOEFL. One of my proudest professional recognitions is receiving the prestigious "Golden Batch" award for excellence in IELTS training.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with students from various backgrounds and proficiency levels. It gives me immense satisfaction to say that I have a 100% success rate—none of my students have ever failed, and many have gone on to achieve scores well above their expectations. My highest IELTS scorer achieved an impressive Band 8.5, and a significant number of my students consistently secure scores above Band 6.5.
My teaching approach is structured yet flexible. I use a lesson plan format combined with interactive, practical-based sessions. This helps students not just memorize content but truly engage with it and develop a deep understanding of the language. Whether I’m working with a beginner or an advanced learner, I ensure that each class caters to the student's current level and pushes them toward their potential.
Technology plays an important role in my classes. I use PowerPoint presentations and videos to explain complex grammatical structures, vocabulary usage, reading strategies, and speaking techniques. These tools make learning more visual and memorable, helping students grasp abstract ideas with ease and confidence.
I conduct both online and offline sessions, depending on student preference. I also provide complete notes and handouts tailored to the specific exam or curriculum being followed. My ultimate goal is to guide learners through their journey with clarity, empathy, and a results-driven approach—ensuring they not only pass their exams but do so with flying colors.
