My lessons incorporate real-life examples and culturally relevant materials that resonate with their backgrounds, making learning relatable and meaningful. In my Malayalam classes, I go beyond traditional teaching methods by incorporating storytelling, poetry, and proverbs, which not only enhance language skills but also nurture an appreciation for our heritage. I focus on building students' confidence in reading, writing, and speaking Malayalam fluently, while also fostering pride in their cultural identity.
