Dr. Santhosh V.

I am a PhD degree holder in Economics and Master’s Degree in Economics with specialization in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics. My basic degree is in Mathematics with Statistics. I also holds MBA degree in Operations Management and MSc degree in Ecology and Environment.
Basically I am government servant working as a professional economist. I have interdisciplinary knowledge and field level and research experience on various sectors which includes Urban Planning, Urban database management, developmental planning, environmental economics, Conducting pilot studies and evaluation of government projects, urban planning, Perspective Planning, Government budgeting, economic evaluation of biodiversity etc. I have published 16 papers in reputed journals/books.
I have six years of teaching experience as a visiting faculty in School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi and IIITMK, Technopark, Trivandrum, Kerala for teaching the subjects Basic Statistics for Planning, Econometrics, Statistics for Economics, Land Economics, Government Planning Process etc. I have experience in teaching both online and offline mode. My basic approach of teaching is practical oriented approach, that means my class will helps the students can able to apply the theory in a real life situation.
