Manasvi Jay Chavan

I am a Bharatanatyam dance teacher with 15 years of experience, dedicated to preserving and sharing the beauty of this classical art form. Over the years, I have trained students of different age groups, helping them understand both the technical and expressive aspects of Bharatanatyam.

I am a certified Bharatanatyam dancer and have completed my degree from Nalanda Bharatanatyam Nritya Niketan. My formal training has given me a strong foundation in classical dance techniques, theory, and performance, which I incorporate into my teaching.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with beginners as well as advanced learners, guiding them step by step in mastering the fundamentals. I focus on building a strong base in posture, adavus, rhythm, and expressions, which are essential for progressing in Bharatanatyam.

I conduct both online and offline classes, making it convenient for students to learn according to their preference. My aim is to create a comfortable and disciplined learning environment where students can practice consistently and grow in their skills.

My teaching approach emphasizes regular practice, patience, and gradual improvement. I ensure that students understand each movement clearly and perform it with accuracy and grace before moving on to more advanced techniques.

I also focus on developing stage confidence and performance skills, encouraging students to express themselves through dance. My goal is to help learners not only gain technical expertise but also develop a deeper appreciation for Bharatanatyam as a classical art form.
