I am Helen K. Thomas, an experienced Mathematics educator with over 30 years of teaching experience, specialising in Mathematics for CBSE students from Classes VIII to X. Teaching has been my passion throughout my career, and I take immense pride in helping students overcome their fear of Mathematics by making the subject simple, logical, and enjoyable. My goal is to build strong conceptual understanding while helping students achieve academic excellence with confidence.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from the University of Mysore, completed in 1991, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Manasagangothri, Mysore, completed in 1992. I have also earned a Post Graduate Diploma in School Leadership and Management (PGDSLM) from IGNOU in 2006. These academic qualifications, combined with decades of classroom experience, have equipped me with the knowledge and expertise to effectively guide students with diverse learning abilities.

Over the past three decades, I have taught numerous students and have developed a deep understanding of the CBSE Mathematics curriculum and examination patterns. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed when provided with the right guidance, encouragement, and learning environment. I adapt my teaching methods according to each student's learning style, ensuring that concepts are understood thoroughly before progressing to more advanced topics.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and student-focused. I prepare well-planned lessons based on the syllabus and the individual learning needs of every student. During my online classes, I use a whiteboard to explain concepts step by step, making complex mathematical ideas easier to understand. I encourage active participation, regular questioning, and continuous practice so that students develop confidence in solving problems independently.

My classes include detailed concept explanations, extensive problem-solving practice, regular assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-clearing discussions. I place great emphasis on strengthening fundamentals, improving logical reasoning, and developing accuracy in calculations. Through consistent guidance and personalised attention, I help students prepare effectively for school examinations and achieve their academic goals.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my teaching career has been witnessing my students achieve outstanding results, with many scoring 100% marks in Mathematics. Their success motivates me to continue inspiring young learners and supporting them in reaching their highest potential. I am committed to creating a positive, encouraging, and disciplined learning environment where students gain not only excellent academic results but also a genuine appreciation for Mathematics that stays with them for life.
