I am Warisa Rahman, an experienced educator with over 11 years of teaching experience in reputed institutions. I have worked as a PGT, TGT, and PRT teacher, serving nearly four years in Kendriya Vidyalaya and nine years in Army Public School, Tezpur, Assam.
Army Public School, Tezpur is one of the most prestigious schools in the country and has consistently secured first position at the national level among Army Public Schools (small scale). Being part of such an institution has enriched my professional skills and strengthened my commitment to quality education.
As a teacher, my role extends beyond classroom instruction. I have actively motivated and guided students to participate in various academic and co-curricular activities, prepared them for Social Science Olympiads, quizzes, and discussion forums, and supported them in projects and creative tasks. I have also provided academic guidance and emotional counselling, helping students manage mental stress in a positive and supportive manner.
I believe in making learning interactive and lively by connecting lessons with real-life experiences, encouraging critical thinking, and keeping students actively engaged. During the COVID period, I adapted my teaching methods to online platforms, ensuring continuity of learning and effective student interaction.
With strong subject knowledge, classroom management skills, and a student-centred approach, I am confident in my ability to contribute effectively to online teaching environments.
