let the no. of stamps on ankush be 'x' therefore, no. of stamps on ram= 4x/5 (no.of stamps on ankush) + (no. of stamps on ram) = 4500 x+(4x/5)=4500 (taking L.C.M. of 5 & 1) (5x+4x)/5=4500 9x/5= 4500 x=4500*5/9 x=2500 hence, . no of stamps on ankush=2500 no. of stamps on ram =2000
