Why doesn’t Tableau provide a default option to export dashboards to PowerPoint?

There could be multiple reasons for not allowing tableau export into power point By exporting Tableau dashboard into Power Point will make it static dashboard without any interaction hence users wont get features like filters, actions or user level securities. A power point presentation is like story board where presenter tells a story. Tableau has story telling feature which can be used as substitute to power Point presentation. There are many Tableau users who are making their presentations on Tableau using story telling feature as it gives interactive graphs/dashboards along-with the text fields. If Tableau gives power point export option then many users will prefer export rather than buying Tableau server licenses. Which could be another reason of not having export option. If you have dashboards published on Tableau server or public, you can use power point plugins to add live webpages in your presentation. By this method you can add your Tableau dashboard in Power point presentation. Itâ??s not exact ex port but it may serve the purpose. read less

What will be the future scope of tableau in the coming years. I am from non technical background and planning to learn tableau. Will it have a good demand in job market for the next 5 years?.
