Prateek Grover

My journey in education started after completing my B.E. in Electrical Engineering in 2010 and later pursuing a B.Ed. in 2017. I started teaching at Lancers Army School in April 2017, where I worked for several years, and since November 2025, I have been teaching at T. M. International Patel School. Alongside school teaching, I have been running Roots Academy since 2019. Teaching has always been more than just completing a syllabus for me. I try to make Mathematics and Physics easier to understand by connecting concepts with situations and examples that students can relate to in their everyday lives. I teach Mathematics and Physics for Classes 8 to 10 and Applied Mathematics for Classes 11 and 12, working with both CBSE and State Board students. One of the things I value most in my teaching journey is seeing students who initially struggle academically gain confidence and improve. I have seen students move from around 40% to 80–85%, with a few even reaching 90% and above. For me, the biggest accomplishment is not simply a high score. It is when a student who once believed that Mathematics or Physics was difficult starts understanding the subject, becomes confident, and eventually enjoys learning it. That change in a student’s attitude towards a subject is what continues to motivate me as a teacher.
