Gaurav Prasad

I teach Biology for classes 10 to 12 on UrbanPro, and I have been working as a Biology educator in schools for the past 24 years. My teaching journey has been driven by a passion for helping students understand the subject deeply, rather than memorizing it. Over the years, I have guided many students in building strong concepts and achieving excellent scores in their board examinations.

I hold a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree along with a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). These qualifications have strengthened my subject knowledge and helped me develop a structured, student-friendly teaching approach. With nearly two and a half decades of teaching experience, I have gained a clear understanding of how students learn and what strategies work best for them.

Throughout my career, I have taught Biology to classes 10–12 in reputed schools. Watching students transform from being unsure about the subject to gaining confidence and performing well academically has been one of the most rewarding parts of my profession. Many of my students have scored exceptionally well in their board exams with consistent guidance and practice.

In 2011, I qualified the UPTET exam. Although I chose not to pursue a government teaching position, clearing the exam reflects my subject expertise, eligibility, and strong pedagogical foundation. I am currently based in Surat, Gujarat, where I continue to teach and help students prepare for school and board-level success.

I conduct both online and offline classes, depending on students’ requirements. My teaching emphasizes clarity through structured lesson plans, well-explained diagrams, real-life examples, and consistent revision. I make sure every student understands the "why" behind each concept, which strengthens retention and improves exam performance.

For online classes, I use PPTs and whiteboard tools to make learning interactive and visually engaging. I also provide regular assessments whenever required, so students can track their progress and improve steadily. My goal is to ensure that every learner feels confident, comfortable, and well-prepared in Biology.
