I am an enthusiastic educator and nursing academic with a strong commitment to student-centered teaching, academic excellence and lifelong learning. My teaching experience spans both basic and advance education, enabling me to develop excellent communication, instructional and mentoring skills across diverse learning environments.

I worked as an Online Mathematics Tutor at Third Space Global for five years, where I delivered individualized online mathematics lessons to primary school students in the United Kingdom. This role strengthened my ability to simplify complex concepts, adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learner needs, utilize digital teaching technologies effectively and foster student confidence and academic achievement in a virtual learning environment.

Currently, I serve as a Lecturer at the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS), Sri Lanka, where I teach undergraduate nursing students through lectures, tutorials, simulation-based learning, and clinical education. My responsibilities include curriculum delivery, student assessment, academic advising, research supervision and the development of engaging learning resources. I am committed to promoting critical thinking, evidence-based practice and professional development while creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

My combined experience in online education and higher education has equipped me with strong communication, leadership and digital teaching skills. I am passionate about inspiring students, integrating innovative teaching methods into the classroom and contributing to excellence in nursing education through teaching, research and academic service.
