English can be well-understood if you know the proper usage of grammar and the meanings of various vocabularies. May be you lack in these two things because of which you are unable to understand the language.

It's only bcoz, you don' t know the language. Once you start reading and speaking and understanding the language you can atleast understand basic English.

Understanding a language can be difficult if you try to understand every single word that you read, write, speak or listen to. Try to understand the overall context and keep reading and listening more and more to become familiar with the language usage rather than focussing on individual words.
