For a student with any other language as their mother tongue, the first thing they need to learn is the basic vocublary and pronunciation of various words. Also the grammar rules which is used widely and they should start using English words in their day to day life. So that a habit can be developed throughout the time. Coaching classes are required just for the environment of english speaking people. If you can create it by yourself with your family or friends then I guess you don't need any particular classes.
