We've noticed that home tutions benefit in some cases: you do not have the time or qualification for the level your child is in, he is weaker than most other kids and responds to individual attention, he requires the discipline to sit down and study, or he needs focussed attention in a particular area of the language. However, for an average student it is advisable to invest in good reading and writing habits. Also, watching good English movies or cartoons helps with pronounciations and speaking skills. Nowadays, speech and drama classes are also becoming popular for hands on practise, and personality grooming. read less

Home tuition's don't necessarily have a significant advantage over other methods such as online tutoring such as via Skype. A personal face-to-face approach though is the best method.
