Mr. Deepak, You are very correct ! One can't learn from someone without payment of fees. Recently, I have noticed at various instances that the students who want to learn through ONLINE are arguing that he has opted for study since it is FREE. You will be surprised to note that he is an Engineering student.

Life itself is a marketplace. Nothing comes free. So is the case with education

Knowledge if given free loses its importance and significance not in the eyes of the giver but more in the eyes of the receiver

Felt much intrigued to join you all in this discussion ! True education, I feel, is always valued, irrespective of the price tag ! However, Dr. Sandhya is quite right, whatever comes free is, especially in our commercially oriented society, cared for much less !! It is something like a doctor prescibing a generic medicine, causting, let us for example say, 10 INRs .... will psychologically work feebler than the same drug at a much higher cost ! Such is our mind set ... therefore, ideally education 'be not free' .. true !! BUT, in my 40 odd years of teaching career I have had many occasions, when education that I have imparted free of any charges, have yeilded wonderful pupils ! A friendly trainer

I have tried to train one guy with zero charge, who is from poor background. To be frank ,I didn't get good commitment from him.classes were not regular because of him.He couldn't pay much attention to classes.when a thing comes freely, its value will get down.People don't take it seriously.
