Dear Ann, language is not a thing to be scared of or feel phobic about. To get comfortable speaking in any language is all about feeling excited about it. Initially, put your thoughts / text properly in a written form and then practice speaking it slowly. While speaking ensure that you are breathing normal. At times , we tend to use fillers like ummmm, etc. If that is an issue be conscious and try to keep mum when there's a tendency to use filler. Also, when your mind is cluttered with multiple thoughts you would tend to blabber as you cannot keep pace with so much in your mind. So, try relaxing and avoid over thinking.
