A sword can be wielded well only by those who are physically fit. But words can flow from the pen of even a feeble man. If he is a good writer, he can use the words to their desired effect. whereas Actions speak louder than words refers to actions that should meet verbal obligations or sentiments. If a person constantly talks about the plight of the poor but never thinks of donating to a charity or in any way mitigating that plight, their words have a hollowness or empty quality. read less
