Why is verb conjugation in the French language so comprehensive?

French verb conjugation is considered comprehensive because it requires changing the verb form based on not only the tense (past, present, future) but also the person (I, you, he, she, etc.)

Verb conjugation of french language depending upon on the 3 type of tense and subject pronouns and persons like 1st person singular (je), plural (Nous) 2nd person singular ( Tu), plural (Vous) 3rd person singular (il, Elle)(On) , plural (ils, elles)
