A good teacher or a guide can make spanish a fun language to learn. Carriculum doesn't matter with a language's intensity it is all about your method of learning which makes it esier irrespective of the carriculum.

Hi, IB based learning is very very different than regular language learning. 8th grade of IB based learning falls under something called IB MYP-4 (Middle Year Program). The learning goes hand in hand with the Units OF Enquiry. They follow the Transdisciplinary Themes. IB is an Enquiry/ Research based learning. Hence language learning also have a lot of research based component. Grammar basics always will remain the same. if you are doing IB Spanish now in 8th grade, and if you purse IB all the way to grade 12 (IB Diploma Program), you will have to take IB Spanish SL/HL from grade 11, unless you switch to another absolutely new Language and then take Ab Initio. hope this helps.
