You need to do the following : 1) Start reading books, newspapers, magazines, etc that are written in English language. 2) Download a thesauras app in your phone and check for the meanings, synonyms, antonyms and representation of the word in different phrases. You can always use a dictionary as well. 3) Start talking in English. Don't be shy, mistakes can happen but don't let them get above your head. 4) Ask people to correct you if you say anything wrong. this will help you.

I would say that depends on few factors. 1) Your learning ability 2) Your knowledge 3) Your interest 4) Time span for practice 5) Efficiency of the instructor If all these factors are satisfied then it will take you around 6 months to be thorough and fluent with the subject. Yes. Why not. I am very happy to say that in almost every stream you can earn a lump sum amount. The main thing is that you have to stand out from rest of the crowd. In India most of the engineering earn between Rs. 20,000-40,000 INR monthly with which one can hardly live a life of a successful businessman. But this does not mean that you cannot earn a lot of money by studying engineering. For say Google, Yahoo, Qualcom and all these high end companies pay a lot to their employees. There are engineers too but they do get paid a lot. Why? Because they are the ones for which these companies crave for. They look for great quality of enggineers. Here I am only talking about Engineering although this applies to almost all other streams of study in the wolrd. Build your own quality. Don't think much about earning. Keep small and frequent milestones that cover up for bigger and greater milestones. Reward yourself. Every time you reach a milestone and do what you literally love to do and one day even before you'll know, you will be on top of the world. I hope this answer helps you.
