Are guitar bends easier on electric guitars than acoustics?

Generally, electric guitar bends not easily , but it depends on situation. if you don't play guitar on regular basis, you should detune your guitar's string. Loose the all strings, it will help more.

What is the best way to remember note positions on a guitar?

First You have to memories all notes. (C, D, E, F, G, A, B) Then only memories that E & B has no sharp or flat note. Then take 6th string of guitar at 3rd fret position, this note is G' memories that note name. So 4th fret will be G#. So like this you have to memories all strings note in 3rd fret position.... ...more

It will help you to play scales and solo over the all fret-board.
