I am a dedicated, driven, enthusiastic and a friendly person. I began my career in Canada in the corporate work-space. Little did I know it wasn't meant for me.

I was always fond of children and have a great rapport with them. I have volunteered as a teacher for several NGO's over the years and have been fortunate to tutor many boys and girls and help them recognize the talents and gifts they have.

After some soul searching, I realized that my calling was to teach. 
With over six years of diverse experience, I am a homeschool teacher and a one-on-one tutor as well. I have had the experience of teaching online to students (with an age range from 9 to 16 years) in Canada and Dubai pre-covid.

I teach students from different boards, be it the Ontario Canadian curriculum along with the Indian curriculum-  ICSE, CBSE, IGCSE.

For me it's not really about the board, but to help children understand concepts in a very simple way.  I tailor my teaching methods that support the child's learning. Fun fact: I learnt child psychology back in University. So it's not just me teaching kids, I get to learn from them too :)

Apart from the teaching and learning during classes, I focus on the child's overall growth and encourage their creative expression.
 
What to expect from me:
1) A bond of friendship between me and the child.
2) Teaching academic concepts related to life and social skills i.e going beyond the books.
3) Innate ability to understand children and help them in any difficulty.
4) Updating parents on the child's progress.
5) Creating a learning atmosphere that stimulates and encourages the child's authenticity. 

Spending time with children brings me infinite joy. I cant imagine doing anything else. :)
