Sarika Goel

I teach Mathematics to students from Class 1 to 10 and have over 20 years of teaching experience. Throughout my career, I have worked as a TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) in Mathematics at Xavier's School in Delhi. For more than 10 years, I specialized in teaching Class 10 Mathematics, while also teaching classes 6 to 10 for the entire duration of my career. Teaching has always been my passion, and I take pride in guiding students toward mastering this subject.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (B.Sc. Computer Science) and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.). In addition, I have completed a professional course from the Institution of Engineers (India), which has strengthened my technical and analytical abilities. These skills have been invaluable in helping me present mathematical concepts in a clear and logical manner to my students.

Over the years, I have witnessed many success stories in my classroom. While teaching Class 10, I consistently saw strong academic performance from my students. In fact, in a class of 50 students, at least 10 of them would score above 90% in Mathematics every year. I have also been actively involved in the CBSE board paper evaluation process, which gave me a deep understanding of exam patterns and marking schemes. This knowledge helps me prepare my students more effectively and gives them a competitive edge in exams.

I conduct my classes online, ensuring that learning remains convenient and accessible for students. My approach to teaching is structured and progressive. I begin with concepts that students are already familiar with and gradually move on to more complex topics. This step-by-step approach builds confidence and ensures that students have a strong conceptual foundation before tackling advanced problems.

To make the classes interactive and engaging, I use a combination of theoretical explanations and practical applications. I also incorporate real-life examples to make Mathematics more relatable and enjoyable. For explaining concepts clearly, I primarily use a digital whiteboard, and for certain topics, I include short videos and animations. These visual aids make it easier for students to grasp difficult concepts and keep the learning experience interesting.

My ultimate goal as a teacher is to help students not only score well in exams but also develop a genuine interest in Mathematics. By focusing on clarity, confidence, and consistent practice, I ensure that my students feel motivated and capable of excelling in the subject.
