Dr R.

I am an English teacher and tutor with a Ph.D. in English, specializing in English Literature. I have recently completed my Ph.D. and have a strong academic background in British literature, Indian writing in English, postcolonial literature, linguistics, and Northeast Indian literature.

I am qualified as a UGC-NET/JRF and hold a doctoral degree in English. My key skills include English language teaching, literature teaching, communication skills, critical thinking, academic writing, and learner-centred teaching. I believe in explaining complex concepts in simple and accessible language and adapting my teaching methods according to students' individual learning needs.

My teaching approach includes interactive discussions, examples from real life, group activities, role-plays, and bilingual explanations when necessary. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can actively participate and improve their knowledge and confidence.

One of my major academic accomplishments is completing my Ph.D. research on the representation of conflict in the selected novels of Easterine Kire, using New Historicism as a theoretical framework. I am also interested in academic research and publishing research papers in reputed Scopus and Web of Science-indexed journals.

I am passionate about teaching and committed to helping students develop strong English language skills, literary understanding, communication abilities, and academic confidence.
