Topic: Loss of Child

A couple approached the Master, for a similar problem but it was much more severe than the subordinate and boss example (please read "Stop worrying and Start Living POST). They lost their only child of two years old. He said “The incident was unbearable, somehow, I managed and move on with life, but my wife is unable to recover”. She is constantly worrying and her health deteriorated results in physical and psychological problems, even after consulting with few psychologists but results in vain. We need your guidance.

Technically speaking, the root of the problem is the same for both the Employee and the couple.

Master Explains…..

“Loss of a child is really a great loss for anyone in their life”. It is natural to have sorrowful thoughts about this tragic incident and nothing wrong with this. Thoughts raise unconsciously and die unconsciously.

If the suffering is only because of thoughts, no human being can come out of any problem forever. The real culprit is not unconscious thoughts. When we ride on them, they become conscious thoughts, meaning thinking and is the problem.

When those thoughts arise, we accept, align and justify with them by thinking

“How sorrowful the incident is?”

“Is it not our duty for the parents to worry?

“If not, who will worry for our child?”

“If we are not depressed, what the society will think of us?” etc.

When we authorise these thoughts, they take root in our nervous system, impacts the organs and creates various diseases. Now the psychological problem started impacting the physical body. Then we fear that whether we have heart problem or mentally imbalanced etc.

Along with the loss of child, health related thoughts also join which further aggravates the physical and mental problem. It becomes a vicious circle.

It is enough if we STOP our CONSCIOUS CONTRIBUTION to this situation. The waves happening on their own will subside on their own. We have to accept the reality that there is no possibility to give life to a dead person.

Similarly, sometimes people may have missed an opportunity to take care of their loved ones while they were alive. The reason may be due to their unclear decision, situation and they feel guilty throughout their life.

Guilty thought is natural as long as it comes unconsciously but do not convert them into thinking. Guilty feeling comes to remind us not to repeat the same mistake in the outer world. Psychologically there is nothing to correct inside us. Past is already dead and nothing can be done now.

The basic problem is only the conversion of thought into thinking.
