First of all, Becoming Trainer happens to everybody without doubt. Reason is, sharing your mistakes, Ventilating your experience and exposure and guide to be on right path is what training is. Now how to become a trainer? So one should have good corporate experience which gives an individual to exposure to lots of problems, issues and especially working knowledge of handling, managing and working with people. why People exposure to Trainer? As a trainer, individual works with the people irrespective of company, gender or level of employee. One needs to convince the group of people and the clients that one can deliver good sessions as a Trainer. Skills needed? not comprehensive but providing a list out of my experience People savy and people-oriented Effective Communication Skills Proactive and Assertive to be with people Should play many roles as a trainer - Counsellor, Guide, FAcilitator, Coach etc. Need to expose to book reading seriously ABle to deliver and identify BEST PRACTICES to share ALL THE BEST read less

A soft skills trainer should be atleast a graduate in psycology, should be proficient in communication skills , to train corporates in their respective fields , a global certification from a corporate training centre would be accepted world wide to be a trainer in soft skills.
