Is certification mandatory to become a soft skill traine and how to take it up?

It is not mandatory but consider this you can only train others in skills that you possess so if you have long industry experience backed by excellent public speaking skills you could start training.

To start your career as a soft skills trainer faster, you should take a course in soft skills. Many institutions offer short-duration courses. After completing the course, you become a certified trainer. The courses primarily teach communication, cooperation, work ethic and leadership.
