Effective Communication And Public Speaking

Communication is not merely a life tool for survival. What and how one communicates conveys a lots about a person. It is the art of transferring information through different media such as; vocally, written formats, visually, or non-verbally.

Most of us are taught the written and visual media of communication right from school. But the vocal and non verbal communication parts are not given emphasis to. 

Verbal communication includes the pitch, voice modulation, pause, stress etc. Non verbal communication consists of body language. This is the most important aspect of communication and public speaking. Public speaking is not just speaking in front of an audience.

It is the art of performing a presentation to a live audience in a structured, deliberate manner in order to inform, influence, or entertains them.
