Subhashini Ravi

I have been teaching Hindi and Mathematics to students from Class 1 to 12 for the past six years. Over this time, I’ve gained valuable experience in handling different boards and adapting to the varied academic needs of students. My passion lies in helping students build a strong conceptual foundation—whether it’s understanding the logic behind mathematical problems or mastering the grammar and fluency of Hindi.

I hold a B.A. in Hindi and a B.Ed. degree with a specialization in Political Science. These academic qualifications have provided me with a solid grounding in both the linguistic and analytical aspects of teaching. The combination of these disciplines has helped me guide students more holistically, especially when they struggle to balance language with logic-based subjects.

Alongside one-on-one tutoring, I also run my own institute, which allows me to work with a larger group of learners in a classroom environment. Teaching in such diverse formats has enabled me to develop flexible and personalized strategies for each learner. My approach is always student-centric—I believe in adapting my teaching style based on each student’s grasping ability and pace. Whether it's an 8-year-old learning basic number operations or a Class 12 student preparing for board exams, my methods are tailored accordingly.

Over the years, I have completed certifications in MATLAB, a professional computer course, and advanced Hindi proficiency. These certifications have helped me upgrade my subject knowledge and also broaden the scope of the tools and methods I use. In Mathematics, especially, I incorporate logic-building exercises, digital tools, and interactive problem-solving to keep the subject engaging and practical.

One of my most fulfilling achievements has been witnessing my students grow not just academically but also in confidence and attitude. Many of them have improved significantly under my guidance and secured excellent marks in their school and board exams. Running my own institute and being able to contribute directly to their academic journey continues to be a source of great motivation.

I conduct both online and offline classes, depending on what suits the student best. My sessions are interactive and structured, always guided by a lesson plan. I make use of PPTs and videos to simplify difficult topics and provide visual reinforcement. I also recommend reference books when necessary but focus on ensuring students understand the basics first. Teaching, for me, is not just a profession—it’s a space where I help shape futures.
