Namaskar! I am Tarunima, a dedicated Kathak dancer and instructor. I have successfully completed my Sangeet Prabhakar Degree in Kathak dance from the prestigious Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad. Along with over a decade of rigorous training in classical dance, I have 2-3 years of practical teaching experience, during which I trained junior students at the very institute where I learned.Learning under the guidance of esteemed gurus and training younger students has given me a deep, nuanced understanding of Kathak's core elements—including Mudras, Footwork (Tatkar), Laya, and Taal. My mission is to pass on this beautiful classical art form to my students with the correct technique and structural knowledge according to the authentic Allahabad syllabus.
