no it is not necessary as the trainer will teach you the specific language used in selenium. We can write the selenium code using java, ruby, c#, javascript and python

yes abdul programming knowledge is required to learn selenium, because we can implement selenium with JAVA, PHP,PERL,RUBY,PYTHON, C#. but i will cover core java concepts similarly in selenium course.
