Social Bookmarking is a Off-Page tactics in SEO, by using which, we can boost our PR and web presence. It is a lifesaver & essential method for brand new websites, as it helps to grow website's audience with a do-follow & legitimate links to credit your link popularity. However, established website's do not use it much(I mean aggressively). Once you get enough do-follow back-links and Social Popularity(Brand Awareness), you just need to maintain it by actively participating & engaging with your visitors in Popular Social Platforms(Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, etc). The purpose behind of Social Bookmarking is to expose your newborn website to the people browsing all over the Internet by drawing their attention, which in return give you enough traffic to come out from the Google's Sandbox and enough do-follow back-links to increase your Link Popularity. This will not only help you to get some initial PR for your website it will also help you gain your DA & PA.
