No strict criteria. Anyone can take SAT, but it's mainly for high school students aiming for undergrad admissions.

Hello Sudha! SAT has 3 parts - Reading, Writing & Maths divided in 3 sections of 800 marks each. This is as per the old pattern. The new pattern will be applicable soon.
