Should I study in Astronomy outside India. Is this possible after 10th or 12th? If yes, please guide letting me know the path. Also, I would like to know about SAT coaching and is there a facility to get coaching done in English subject for Grade IX th student.

Hello Sudha! SAT has 3 parts - Reading, Writing & Maths divided in 3 sections of 800 marks each. This is as per the old pattern. The new pattern will be applicable soon.

Regarding the SAT, the last test for the old pattern was held in Jan 2016 and the first test for the new pattern will be in May. The new or Revised SAT will have four sections. Reading, Writing and Language, Math and Essay. The essay is optional and will not be included in your composite score. However, I would advise you to take it to increase your chances of getting admission in a good school . I would advise that you take the coaching for Verbal after you complete grade 10, maybe during the vacations? read less
