I am a German language enthusiast, who has learnt German from native speakers. Beina a non native speaker, I know exactly where the stumbling blocks are while learning a foreign language and try to help them to overcome, as my special paper in the MA in German Studies is Didactics, how to teach a foreign language. With the help of songs, stories, poems, film trailers German is taught. It is not a textbook based class. Rather the students will learn German in various other ways, which helps the students to understand the country and its people and its culture.
I have done from A1 to C1 in Dresden, Germany and appeared there for the exams too and in 2017 I have shifted to Mumbai, India and joined first DHL GSC and then Deloitte as a German language resource. However in 2019 I have decided to quit my steady and lucrative career and follow my passion of language learning and start again from B2 in Max Mueller Bhavan, Goethe Institute, Pune, India and have finished my C2, partly offline and partly online due to Pandemic. Meanwhile I started teaching (offline in Pune), but due to Pandemic I had to return to Mumbai and continued online teaching. In 2020 I have started my own organization, Deutschscope, where I plan the whole course interactively from scratch and then execute it.
Besides different levels, I also offer a Grammar revision course, where the grammar rules are well explained with examples and a spoken German course, which boosts the confidence of the students to speak.
