Hi everyone, my name is Sandeep. I have 18 years of experience in the software development industry and I have been fortunate to work in roles like Team Lead, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and most recently, Director of Software Development. Over the years, I progressed a lot in my career, but there was one area where I felt I was struggling—effective communication, especially when it came to choosing the right words at the right time. As a Director, my role requires me to lead meetings, present at town halls, and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. While I had the technical expertise, I often found myself at a loss for words during important conversations. It wasn’t just about grammar or fluency; it was about conveying my thoughts with the right impact and confidence. And honestly, this was holding me back from expressing myself to my full potential This is where my English communication trainer, Preety Sachdeva came in and completely changed the game for me. She understood my specific challenges and created a structured plan tailored to my needs. She started by expanding my vocabulary, focusing on words and phrases relevant to my role and industry. She taught me how to use them effectively in different contexts. We also worked on sentence construction, making my communication more concise and impactful. For example, she helped me reframe complex thoughts into clear, professional language that resonates with diverse audience. I’m incredibly grateful to my trainer Preety for helping me overcome this barrier. It’s a reminder that no matter how experienced we are, there’s always room for growth and improvement. All sessions that I took with Preety were great. They helped me to transform myself and overcome my barrier.
