Amanjot K. - BA Psychology Student | Tutor for Class 11-12 Psychology, Legal Studies and Pol Science

I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts from Panjab University and teach Psychology, Legal Studies, and Political Science to students from Classes 10 to 12. I recently started teaching on UrbanPro and am at the beginning of my formal tutoring journey. My academic background and interest in these subjects motivate me to help students understand them in a clear, structured, and engaging way.

I completed my Class 12 from St. Soldier International Convent School in 2024, where I studied Psychology, Political Science, and Legal Studies. I have also studied Political Science during the first two years of my undergraduate course. My continued academic engagement with these subjects has helped me develop a strong understanding of their concepts and curriculum.

I also completed a one-month internship at Crayons Multispeciality Clinic in 2026. During the internship, I gained practical exposure to areas such as psychological assessments, case history, behavioural therapy, and therapy sessions. This experience gave me an opportunity to observe the practical side of psychology and connect some of the concepts I studied academically with real-world situations.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and student-friendly. I begin by understanding the student's current level, learning pace, and areas where they require improvement. I then plan each class around clear learning objectives and explain the concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.

I focus on conceptual clarity rather than encouraging students to rely only on memorisation. I encourage learners to ask questions, participate in discussions, and connect theoretical concepts with practical and real-life examples wherever appropriate. I believe this approach can make subjects such as Psychology, Political Science, and Legal Studies easier to understand and remember.

I also use regular revision, doubt-solving, practice questions, and exam-oriented preparation to help students strengthen their understanding. I use a whiteboard during my classes to explain and organise concepts clearly. I adjust the pace of teaching according to the student's progress and provide additional support wherever required.

As I continue developing as a teacher, I want to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and expressing their doubts. My goal is to make these subjects engaging and understandable while helping Class 11 and 12 students build strong conceptual foundations and prepare confidently for their examinations.
