As far as I can recall, my first Time teaching someone was back in 2014. It was Teacher’s day in school and our class had decided to volunteer and give teachers a break for the day and teach other classes. I taught mathematics to grade fifth and sixth students. I know I did good because I remember the students asking me to be their permanent mathematics teacher. I’ve explained topics in class presentations throughout the course of my high school. Here’s a noteworthy incident that happened in high school that I’d like to share. I was in my last year of high school and different students of the class were supposed to give a small presentation on different topics, after which the teacher would explain the topic thoroughly. On the day of the presentation, I was explaining the structure of DNA. And somehow I didn’t know where the time flew by and before i know it all the students were applauding and the teacher gave me a golden badge. Suffice to say, our teacher didn’t had to explain the topic again. I’ve always help my friends understand any topics they felt were difficult. Especially in grade 11th and 12th. Ive taught grade 10th physics to a family friend and grade 9th and 10th biology to my cousin online in the COVID-19 lockdown. I’m in my college currently and Ive studied in group with my two friends. They almost never forget the topics that I’ve taught them. But it’s not always me, my friends have taught me too and somehow they helped me become better. Teachers in my college have recommended me to tutor other students a couple of times.
