With 18 + years of teaching experience, I have extensive expertise in developing students’ Spoken English and communication skills, particularly among young learners. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, fluency, correct pronunciation, effective vocabulary usage, and the ability to express thoughts clearly in English. I have worked extensively on conversational English, sentence formation, listening and speaking skills, everyday communication, and appropriate use of grammar while speaking. I create opportunities for students to communicate naturally through role plays, storytelling, picture description, show-and-tell, dialogues, group discussions, presentations, and situation-based conversations. A key focus of my teaching is helping children overcome hesitation and fear of speaking English. I maintain a positive and encouraging classroom environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them. I gradually develop their confidence by encouraging them to speak independently, ask and answer questions, express opinions, narrate experiences, and interact with their peers in English. I have also designed and implemented age-appropriate Spoken English activities for primary learners, integrating vocabulary, pronunciation, listening comprehension, grammar, and personality development. I believe Spoken English is best developed through consistent practice and meaningful communication rather than rote learning. My aim is to nurture confident, articulate, and effective English speakers who can communicate comfortably in both academic and everyday situations.

I have over 25 years of teaching experience, particularly with primary school children from Classes I to V. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of the learning needs, abilities, and challenges of young learners. My teaching focuses on strengthening basic concepts and building confidence in children. I help students with English, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, spoken English, and schoolwork. I also provide support with homework, revision, worksheets, and exam preparation. I believe every child learns differently, so I use simple explanations, examples from everyday life, activities, practice exercises, and regular revision to make learning easier and more interesting. I pay individual attention to areas where a child needs improvement and adjust my teaching accordingly. I particularly focus on improving reading fluency, sentence formation, vocabulary, handwriting, grammar, and communication skills. Along with academics, I encourage children to become more confident, independent, and expressive. My extensive experience as a primary teacher has helped me create a patient, friendly, and structured learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. My aim is not only to help students perform better academically but also to develop strong foundational skills that support their future learning.
