Chaitanya Nath Boruah

I am an Electrical Engineering graduate with more than 13 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, and I have been actively teaching for the past 4 years. I teach Class 10 Science and provide coaching for UPSC examinations, covering all subjects except Ethics. My teaching combines my professional experience, academic background, and competitive examination preparation to help students develop strong conceptual and analytical skills.

I have completed my Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), which has given me a strong foundation in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical subjects. Alongside my professional career, I have also prepared for the Assam Public Service Commission's Combined Competitive Examination and appeared for three interviews, with Political Science as my optional subject.

I also worked as a Team Leader on a World Bank-sponsored project in Assam for three years. This professional experience helped me develop strong organisational, analytical, communication, and leadership skills. For the past one year, I have been actively teaching Indian Polity, Geography, and History, with a focus on helping students understand these subjects conceptually and prepare effectively for competitive examinations.

My teaching methodology is structured but flexible. I first understand the student's requirements, current level, strengths, weaknesses, and course objectives before planning the lessons. I use clear explanations, interactive discussions, concept-based teaching, and regular assessments to ensure that students are progressing consistently.

For UPSC preparation, I focus strongly on conceptual clarity and the ability to connect different topics. I use current affairs and practical examples wherever relevant to help students understand how theoretical concepts relate to real-world situations. I also work on analytical thinking and answer-writing skills, which are important for competitive examinations.

I believe regular assessment and feedback are essential for effective preparation. I track the student's progress and adjust the pace, depth, and teaching methodology according to their individual requirements. My objective is to help students gradually become more independent in analysing questions, connecting concepts, and developing well-structured answers.

I conduct both online and offline classes and use PPT presentations and a digital whiteboard to make lessons organised and engaging. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, improve their analytical abilities, understand complex subjects with greater clarity, and prepare confidently for their academic and competitive examination goals.
