I teach English to students from Classes 6 to 10, with a focus on English Literature and Grammar. I also teach students following the CBSE and ICSE curricula and provide Spoken English training. I have 4 years of teaching experience and have worked with students with different learning levels, academic requirements, and areas of improvement.

I completed my schooling from Carmel School, Dhanbad, followed by my graduation in English from Banaras Hindu University (BHU). I then completed my Master’s degree in English from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi. I also hold a B.Ed. with English and Economics as my teaching subjects from St. Andrews College, Gorakhpur. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in English language and literature as well as professional training in teaching.

I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills and become more confident in using the language. My strengths include strong language knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to understand the individual learning requirements of students. I believe that students learn best when the teaching approach is adapted to their level, pace, and specific areas of difficulty.

My teaching methodology is structured, interactive, and student-focused. I begin by understanding the student's current level, learning requirements, and academic goals, and then plan the lessons accordingly. I prepare structured lesson plans and ensure that the sessions remain engaging through discussions, questions, practice exercises, and regular interaction.

For English Literature, I focus on helping students understand the context, themes, characters, and important ideas within the prescribed texts rather than simply memorising answers. For Grammar, I use clear explanations and regular practice to help students understand grammatical concepts and apply them correctly. I also work on reading, writing, vocabulary, and communication skills to help students develop stronger overall language proficiency.

I regularly encourage students to participate actively and ask questions whenever they have doubts. I use practice exercises and feedback to identify areas that require additional attention and adjust my teaching approach accordingly. My objective is to make English concepts clear and approachable while gradually helping students become more independent and confident learners.

Through my classes, I aim to help students improve their academic performance as well as their overall command of the English language. Whether they need support with Literature, Grammar, CBSE or ICSE preparation, or Spoken English, I provide personalized guidance and consistent practice to help them achieve their learning goals.
