Shamoon Zakaria

I teach Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to students from Classes 8 to 10 and have around 5 years of teaching experience. During this time, I have worked with students at different academic levels and helped them improve their understanding of important concepts across these subjects. My focus is on creating a strong foundation so that students become more comfortable with their academics and develop better problem-solving skills.

I am a Civil Engineer by qualification, and my engineering background has given me a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, and analytical problem-solving. My professional education has also helped me develop a logical approach towards understanding and explaining concepts. Along with my academic background, my teaching experience has helped me develop methods that are easier for school students to understand and apply.

My experience in the teaching field over the past five years has been very positive and rewarding. I enjoy interacting with students, understanding the areas where they face difficulty, and helping them work through those challenges step by step. I have worked with students from Classes 8 to 10 and have focused on helping them improve both their conceptual understanding and academic performance.

I believe that Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry become much easier when students understand the logic behind a concept instead of simply memorising information. I therefore try to explain every topic in a simple and systematic manner. I encourage students to ask questions, discuss their doubts, and solve problems themselves so that they gradually become more confident and independent in their learning.

I follow a structured lesson plan for each class and keep my sessions interactive. I begin with an explanation of the topic and then involve students through questions, discussions, examples, and problem-solving activities. I also adapt my teaching according to the student's understanding and learning pace, making sure that important concepts are covered thoroughly before moving on to more advanced topics.

I use PPT presentations and a whiteboard to support my teaching. The whiteboard helps me explain calculations, diagrams, formulas, and problems step by step, while PPTs help organise concepts and important points. I believe that combining explanation with active practice makes lessons more engaging and helps students remember concepts more effectively.

I offer online classes and aim to provide students with a comfortable, interactive, and focused learning environment. My goal is to help students strengthen their fundamentals in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry while improving their confidence and problem-solving abilities. I work patiently with students and adjust my approach according to their individual learning needs so that they can make steady academic progress.
