With 21 years of teaching experience, I have helped young learners develop confidence and fluency in spoken English. I have worked with children of different ages, learning levels, and backgrounds, supporting them as they become comfortable expressing their thoughts, feelings, ideas, and opinions in English. My teaching approach is friendly, encouraging, and learner-centered. I create a safe and enjoyable environment where every child feels motivated to participate. I use conversations, storytelling, rhymes, role plays, picture descriptions, games, songs, question-and-answer activities, and everyday classroom interactions to make learning meaningful and engaging. These activities help students improve vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence formation, listening skills, grammar, and overall fluency. Through regular conversations, learners practise greeting others, introducing themselves, asking and answering questions, describing people and objects, sharing experiences, and communicating in common daily situations. Storytelling develops imagination and listening comprehension, while rhymes and songs help children practise pronunciation, rhythm, stress, and intonation. Role plays allow students to use English in realistic situations, such as shopping, visiting a doctor, asking for directions, speaking with friends, or participating in classroom discussions. I pay close attention to each learner’s individual needs and learning pace. I provide patient guidance, positive feedback, repetition, visual aids, simple explanations, and real-life examples. I encourage children to speak without fear of mistakes and help them improve step by step.
