I have been teaching English for the past 45 years, and it has been an incredibly fulfilling journey. From spoken English to academic English for classes 10, 11, and 12 across all boards, I’ve had the privilege of guiding countless students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. My approach is rooted in patience, clarity, and adaptability, making sure that each student feels heard and supported in their learning process.
Over the years, I’ve witnessed significant transformations in my students—be it fluency in speaking or excellence in board examinations. What keeps me going is the feedback I receive from students and their families. Many of them have told me that their confidence and performance improved drastically, which I consider the most rewarding outcome of my career.
My teaching style is tailored to each student’s needs. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method. Instead, I adjust my pace and strategies according to the individual’s comfort and goals. While I emphasize grammar and structure, I equally value real-life applications, vocabulary enhancement, and communication techniques that help students use English confidently in everyday contexts.
Currently, I am in the process of writing my Ph.D. in English, which reflects my commitment to continued academic growth. Even after decades of teaching, I believe in lifelong learning. My passion for the subject is as strong today as it was when I first started, and I always bring that enthusiasm to my classes.
I prefer conducting online classes as they allow me to reach students from different regions without compromising the personal touch. My sessions are interactive, and I use relevant material—text-based, audio, or visual—to make each class engaging and productive.
Though I have never received formal awards or institutional honors, I consider the continuous appreciation from my students and the long-standing relationships I’ve built as the highest form of recognition. It’s their progress and success that define my accomplishments.
