I have hands-on experience teaching children in the Nursery to Kindergarten level, where my primary focus has been on creating a fun, engaging, and child-friendly learning environment. My teaching methods are rooted in activity-based learning, where concepts are introduced through play, stories, songs, and interactive exercises . I emphasize building a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy by teaching alphabets, phonics, recognition of words, basic sentence formation, counting, number recognition, and simple mathematical operations. Along with academics, I also guide children in developing fine motor skills through writing practice, drawing, coloring, and craft activities. My approach also includes moral education, basic etiquette, and social skills, helping young learners build confidence and discipline from an early age. I use storytelling, role play, rhymes, and visual aids to keep lessons exciting and easy to understand. I also work on improving children’s speaking and listening skills by encouraging them to express themselves, ask questions, and participate in simple conversations. Each child’s pace is different, so I make sure to give individual attention and adjust lessons according to their grasping ability. In addition, I guide parents with simple home-based activities and practice routines so the child continues to learn effectively outside the classroom.
