(ii),(iii),(iv) are not random variables. For (ii) p(3)=-0.1<0, which is not possible for a random variable. For (iii) the total probability sum is less than 1 and for (iv) the total probability sum is greater than 1 if we stand at x axis and rotate it 360 degree then we come to our starting position. Therefore our rotation is equivalent to 0 degree. So sin 360 + cos 360 = sin 0 + cos 0 = 0 + 1 = 1 ### Learn More
