My teaching focus specifically at university-level is to promote learning, by engaging with students in their learning environment, promoting higher order thinking skills, understanding and respecting their opinions and backgrounds. I developed my respect for academics and passion for teaching at a very early age in my life. My mother who is an academician by profession, planted the seed of commitment to lifelong learning.
I started teaching at very early stage while I was pursuing my graduation, joined Nehru Yuva Kendra funded by the Ministry of youth affairs & sports, Government of India, as National Social Volunteer (NSV). As NSV I have erudite social services, helping my community in education and make them aware of their common rights.
I received a 12 days training for executing my duties as NSV proficiently. I believe, I have learnt the minute facts concerned with teaching there. Hence, my teaching journey began at that very moment, as result immediately after completing my post-Graduation degree in Organic chemistry, I chose teaching as my profession and have been laying emphasis on updating my techniques & approaches day by day.
I started my career in teaching as PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Chemistry, so I had a day-to-day dealing with growing children where I have learnt a basic thing from the seniors that if students are not taking interest in your class being teacher, it is your biggest failure. No matter how much knowledgeable you are in academics, always make your class captivating, review and renew your methodology to make the topic interesting and graspable
