I conduct online phonics teacher training and also conduct physical training for teachers at school. I have started this since 2022. I conduct 1on 1 class and now planning to start group class as well. The course can be completed within 20 hours.. Well as we know that we start teaching phonics in early year to build foundation, if high school kids who have not learn initially may face complications to unlearn and then learn the other way, hence to avoid consuming time it's not thought , though not impossible at this stage hence avoided in American... ...more

What are the different types of phonics instructions?

Phonics instructions could be as follows Identify the phoneme ( sound ) Decode the given word Change the initial sound , Read the word after you change the short vowel a to short vowel I in a given word. Read aloud Where's synthetic ,embedded,anology are the type of phonics.

What is the difference between the terms phonics and phonetics?

In easy way phonetics is a way where we teach how a sound is produced using the various vocal area, the various position of tongue in our mouth , sometime mouth is wide open some time tongue touching upper teeth some time lower teeth, sometime vibration felt on teeth when we produce sounds ,hence phonetics... ...more
In easy way phonetics is a way where we teach how a sound is produced using the various vocal area, the various position of tongue in our mouth , sometime mouth is wide open some time tongue touching upper teeth some time lower teeth, sometime vibration felt on teeth when we produce sounds ,hence phonetics is a bigger umbrella and phonics come under it , where in phonics we teach sound and a way how do we graph a sound ,and also when do we use a particular graph for the same sound Eg. Sail ( ai) , stay ( ay) , eight ( eigh) , here. All the word have long vowel A sound and different grapheme used to represent as per phonics.
