Teaching Experience in detail in Nursing Training Classes
I am a registered nursing professional with approximately four years of clinical experience in Emergency Medicine and Prehospital Ambulance Services at a tertiary care hospital. Alongside my clinical responsibilities, I actively mentor newly recruited paramedics and provide structured training in prehospital emergency care. My teaching experience includes conducting Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions and educating nursing students, paramedics, and healthcare staff on emergency assessment, triage, infection prevention, patient monitoring, and the management of medical and trauma emergencies. I regularly train new paramedics in ambulance operations, scene assessment, patient stabilization, airway management, oxygen therapy, ECG acquisition, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), defibrillator use, emergency medication preparation, and safe patient transport. I also provide hands-on training in the use of emergency equipment, including ventilators, defibrillators, syringe pumps, suction devices, and point-of-care testing (POCT) systems such as the i-STAT analyzer for blood gas and cardiac biomarker testing. In addition, I contribute to quality improvement initiatives by developing training materials, conducting competency assessments, and promoting evidence-based practice in prehospital emergency care. My teaching style emphasizes practical, scenario-based learning that integrates clinical knowledge with real-world emergency situations. My goal is to help nursing students and paramedics develop strong clinical judgment, confidence, and the skills required to deliver safe and effective emergency care in both hospital and prehospital settings.
